Though there has been a great deal of speculation over the years, the traditional meaning of this rune has not been established.

It’s believed the reason for this is that the Christian translators changed some of the words in a verse defining Peorrth. Perhaps they were either to embarrassing or they expressed thoughts contrary to those of the church. read more
